Progress on Madhuri
I've made some substantial changes to Madhuri's face in order to get a better likeness. I've had to lift one eye, soften the outlines of her mouth, and broaden her chin and nose, a millimeter here, a millimeter there. Such little changes, but such an unexpected transformation! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to put Madhuri aside for a couple months to focus on drawing flowers and learning more from the Bargue-Gerome drawing course. I had to erase ten hours of work because I wasn't able to make her clothing on the shoulder look like anything more than a smudge. Once my skill has increased I will tackle her hand and bracelets. Kitten will also have to wait for a couple months while I grapple with those strenuous Bargue plates.
