Updated Pages, Wildflower Still Life
I did this still life about a year ago and somehow didn't get around to posting it. It is a bunch of Northern Ontario wildflowers (Creeping Bellflower, Black-Eyed Susan, and Bird's Foot Trefoil) in a glass on a dark marble table. The wildflowers come from my own sketchbook, but the glass and marble table are inspired by floral artist Jane Jones and nineteenth century flower painters (I left out the usual assortment of bugs). I've also updated my flower page, so do check it out!
